Here's a shot of the well-known Sydney Opera House, one of the Australian icons that is easily recognised by many people around the world.
This was taken before dawn, while on a photoshoot with some local Sydney OCAU amateur photographers. It was a cold and windy morning, and the sunrise didn't provide very interesting colours, but I'm happy with some of the shots I got before the sun appeared, including the one shown below.

This photo was taken from the point near Mrs Maquarie's Chair, ie, on the other side of Farm Cove from the Opera House.

The photo looks great! The 4 second exposure worked nicely... My only critique is that you could have zoomed out a tiny bit to leave some room on the left side of the opera house. It looks like the far left sail has been slightly cropped out of frame.

Thanks Beau. I have more pics from the shoot (and I'll be blogging some of them), but I think the one above provided the nicest colours, with an almost black background....despite cropping the edge of the left sail.
