Early this morning, a few keen souls met in South Perth to catch some dawn photos. We had the following group: After catching some photos of the somewhat disappointing sunrise, we wandered up the river to the Narrows, had a hot breakfast at a nearby cafe, and then headed off to work for the day.

Here's the very first photo I took this morning:

I'll post more photos from this morning once I find the time to go through them.

Update: Here's some more of the photos from this shoot:

Even if the sunset was disappointing, that picture turned out amazing!! Also, you sure enjoyed the commaderie right?

@Nick: Definitely - the camaraderie is one of the key reasons why we get together for these photoshoots.
I also have some reasonable photos taken after the sunrise, when were were walking along the river, and will be posting some of those over the next few days.

Great opening shot! Looking forward to seeing the rest. Thanks again for the invite. I had lots of fun and it was good to see you guys again.

@Bas: we're definitely intending to get together again, and we have some ideas about locations.
The next get-together will probably be Saturday 1 November, to shoot the Red Bull Air Race.
