While in Phuket recently, we visited the Phuket Monkey School. This is one of the monkeys at the school (note the chain around its neck).
I thought the duotone conversion adds to the gloomy feel of the photo, as the monkey waits for the next show to start.

That is a fantastic shot. The sharpness and detail combined with the depth of focus and color treatment makes for a very moving shot.

It was rather sad to see how these monkeys were housed. I considered cloning out the chain around the monkey's neck, but decided it needed to stay, to show the full story.
