Sourcing Parts

The best source of most Datsun parts is your local wreckers yard. Datsun parts are fairly common and cheap.

In Perth, if your local wreckers yard doesn't have the Datsun part that you need, try JapWreck (they wreck and import Japanese cars, incuding Datsuns):
     Jap Wreck
     27 William Street
     Beckenham 6107 Western Australia
     phone: (08) 9451 6711

Adelaide-based Mad Dat Motorsport are a great source of parts for modifying your Datsun.

I've made mention that Leyland P76 calipers can be used (see Angus' Ford brake conversion). Adrian Spencer emailed me to say that getting hold of P76 parts can be easier if you contact your local Leyland P76 car club.

Ben Cameron says that the guys at OZ Developments need a mention here. They make everything to place just about any engine into a Datsun: twin cam, EFI, turbo, rotary, etc. They can supply engine mounts, gearbox mounts, modify transmission tunnels, etc.
They are located in Sydney:
     2/ 9 Field Cl
     Moorebank  2170  New South Wales
     phone: (02) 9601 2656.

In the United States, there is a performance shop in Southeast Portland, called USA Performance Auto, who specialise in Datsun and Nissan performance upgrades.

Classic Datsun Motorsports are in California, and specialise in providing parts and a restoration service for Datsun Roadsters, 1600s (510), and 240Z.

Techno Toy Tuning are also in California, and specialise in performance parts for Datsuns and other cars.
