The standard wheels on a Datsun 1200 are 4" x 12", with 155SR12 tyres.
13" Wheels:
If you want 13" rims, steel rims from a Toyota LiteAce or similar, or
from a Datsun Sunny or 180B. These are 4.5" x 13", and the maximum width tyres
that you can fit on them are 185 (either 65 or 70 profile).
14" Wheels:
14" rims from a Datsun 240K, Nissan Bluebird,
Nissan Pintarra (RWD models only), etc, are all 5.5" x 14", and will fit on.
However, with 14" rims, you will need to go for lower profile tyres (60 or lower).
I had 185/60R14 tyres on the front of my 1200, and 205/60R14 tyres on the rear,
on 5.5" x 14" steel rims from a Datsun 240K.

15" Wheels:
If you really want, you can even put 15" wheels onto a Datsun 1200.
Angus has got 15x6" Falcon steel rims on his
120Y coupe, with 205/50R15 tyres on the rear, and Michelin MXV2
195/50R15 on the front.
He is using Falcon rims because he has Falcon disk brakes
on the front, and a shortened 9" diff on the rear.
Ben tells me that Bluebird TRX wheels look great on a 1200.
The TRX wheels are 15x6" mesh wheels, which look huge on a 1200 when polished.
The biggest tyres you can go without major guard mods is 195/50R15.
I believe a 3mm spacer plate is required, depending on whether you have done
a strut swap. You can pick up a second hand set of TRX rims for about $200.
Chris Stamellos also has 15" Bluebird TRX wheels on his
Datsun 1200 ute. He has done a Stanza strut swap, because the TRX wheels were
hitting his struts, and he didn't want to use spacers. He's using 195/50R15
tyres.
