Taken while on holidays in the Netherlands recently, I noticed this window on one of the barns on an uncle's farm, and had to take a photo of it.

I suspect the dark stain under the window is due to moisture. I'm not sure why the window wasn't repaired, but the rest of the building is in a similar state, despite being used to house pigs:
