This huge log is in a commemorative park in Jarrahdale, and is called the Centenary log. Apparently the log is there to commemorate 100 years of logging in the Jarrahdale area.

I wasn't aware of the existence of the log until I noticed it while driving through Jarrahdale one day.
I stopped to take a closer look, and wanted to capture the detailed textures of the log, while still showing the size of the log.
