This evening I got together with some fellow photography enthusiasts,
and had some fun with steel wool spinning on the beach right next to the abandoned
power station in South Fremantle.
We started spinning with the old power station in the background.
We then turned in the opposite direction, to make the most of the sunset colours in the sky.
The three photos shown here are all self-portraits. I had my camera set up on my tripod, and once I started spinning the steel wool, I would trigger my camera remotely with my Phottix Plato wireless shutter release.
Thanks to everyone who turned up to the shoot today - it was a lot of fun!

It was a good turn out and lots of fun despite the obvious :)
